We keep reenacting the same scene
The smile, the tears, the wounds
The white butterfly flying
The dying trees
The falling leaves
You and I
What did I do wrong this time?
Is it my thoughts?
Is it my words?
Is it my actions?
Is it my existence?
Flaw is something you can found everywhere
Including my own self
And yours
But mine is mine
And yours is yours
Is it okay to compare?
Is it right to see everything through the same angle?
When a movie gives you dozens of angles to see
So you can feel the point of view they want to deliver
But when it comes to
You and I
They and us
We keep comparing
We always see everything with our own exclusive lenses
And the only thing we notice is black and white
"I" is always white, and "you" is always black
"I" is always black, and "you" is always white
Even though the universe blesses us with so many colors
We can no longer see
The smile, the tears, the wounds
The white butterfly flying
The dying trees
The falling leaves
We can no longer see each other
What should I do to escape from this loop?
A repetition of remorse, hate, and agony
Should I crush the camera?
Or rip the film apart?
Or maybe I should just wait
For the scene to continue its story
Letting the smile fades away
All the wounds bleed
And all the tears fall
And maybe after that
We'll finally be able to see
The butterflies flying
The shady trees
The green leaves
Us
And we can finally escape from this repetition
